Tsoko.Nut: Chocolate, the Filipino Way

The goal of this blog is not exactly to try new restaurants, it's about food experiences that to some may be old but entirely new to me. Discovering new things closer to home is such a great joy that it is meant to be shared

Take Tsoko.Nut for example, established the year 2004, which I often passed by without a second glance. But for some reason that day or because I was more open to new things, we tried it.

Tablea Mousse Cupcake (P45)

Chocolate, the Filipino way, known by most of us as tablea, is incorporated in pretty much all of their menu.

A taste of locally made sin (for the lack of a better word) was so lip-smacking. The tablea mousse itself was gold but the cupcake was not.

Their different chocolate and coffee based desserts.

Relyenong Bangus (P125)

Truly Filipino with Relyenong Bangus reminiscent of our visits to our grandma's house. This could have been a lot better if the sauce was banana ketchup not tomato.
